October Market Report
Memphis-area home sales for October increased 9.3 percent from a year ago, with 1,523 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Sales were down 5.8 percent from September, when there were 1,616 total sales.
Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Collection in Giles, Pickett and Rutherford Counties on Nov. 5
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s mobile household hazardous waste collection service will be in Giles, Pickett and Rutherford Counties on Saturday, Nov. 5. Since the program’s inception in 1993, more than 322,000 households have properly disposed of more than 21 million pounds of material.
