June Market Report

Memphis-area home sales for June decreased 0.2 percent from a year ago, with 1,939 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®MAARdata property records database. Sales were up 2.0 percent from May when there were 1,901 total sales.

August Market Report

Memphis-area home sales for August increased 10.3 percent from a year ago, with 1,942 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®MAARdata property records database. Sales were up 11.2 percent from July when there were 1,747 total sales. Average sales price from August-to-August was up 4.4 percent, at $183,175. Inventory decreased 2.1 percent, with 4,713 units listed for sale. Year-to-Date sales volume was up 13.7 percent at $2.24 billion.

Lamberson and Poag Receive Top Pinnacle Award Honors

The Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® Commercial Council honored the top performers in commercial real estate for 2016 at the 16th Annual Pinnacle Awards gala held April 6 at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms. Coming away with the evening’s highest honors were Commercial Hall of Fame inductee Dan Poag, of Poag Shopping Centers, and Wyatt Aiken Commercial Broker of the Year winner Johnny Lamberson, of CB Richard Ellis Memphis.

Memphis-area home sales for October increased 9.3 percent from a year ago, with 1,523 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Sales were down 5.8 percent from September, when there were 1,616 total sales.

MAAR Members Elect Board of Directors for 2017-2018

At the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® Annual Meeting and Election September 8, MAAR members elected six individuals to the 2017-2018 Board of Directors.

Memphis-area home sales for August increased 12.6 percent from a year ago, with 1,738 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®MAARdata property records database. Sales were up 7.2 percent from July, when there were 1,621 total sales. Average sales price from August-to-August was up 6.0 percent, at $175,423. Inventory decreased 1.2 percent, with 5,666 units listed for sale. YTD sales volume increased by 10.8 percent, at $1.95 billion.
