MEMPHIS, TN - December 12, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for November increased 8.5 percent from a year ago, with 1,180 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Total sales decreased 13.9 percent from October. Average sales price year-over-year was up 6.2 percent at $128,339. Inventory declined 4.4 percent, with 6,805 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 19.3 percent to $1.79 billion.

MEMPHIS, TN - October 8, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for September rose 17.1 percent from a year ago, with 1,287 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Total sales decreased 15 percent from August. Average sales price year-over-year was up 1.6 percent at $128,971. Inventory declined 2.1 percent, with 7,392 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 17.6 percent to $1.46 billion

MEMPHIS, TN - September 10, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for August jumped 14.2 percent from a year ago, with 1,514 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Total sales increased 9.3 percent from July. Average sales price year-over-year was up 1.5 percent at $128,472. Inventory declined 1.2 percent, with 7,522 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 18.2 percent to $1.3 billion.

MEMPHIS, TN - August 7, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for July rose 7.4 percent from a year ago, with 1,385 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS^® MAARdata property records database. Total sales increased 8.5 percent from June. Average sales price year-over-year was up 14.1 percent at $147,373. Inventory was up 1.1 percent, with 7,615 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 20 percent to $1.1 billion.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - July 4, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for June decreased 2.4 percent from a year ago, with 1,277 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Total sales dropped 11.4 percent from May. Average sales price year-over-year was up 9.4 percent at $146,198. Inventory was up 2.2 percent, with 7,529 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 16.6 percent to $873.1 million

MEMPHIS, TN - June 11, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for May increased 24.8 percent from a year ago, with 1,441 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS^® MAARdata property records database. Total sales jumped 23.6 percent from April. Average sales price year-over-year was up 1.0 percent at $124,736. Inventory was up 3.0 percent, with 7,370 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 19.3 percent to $684.7 million

MEMPHIS, Tenn., April, 6, 2012 – Memphis-area home sales for March rose 19.8 percent from a year ago, with 1,281 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS MAARdata property records database. Total sales jumped 29.1 percent from February. Average sales price year-over-year was down 7.7 percent at $113,156. Inventory was flat, at 6,897 units listed for sale. Sales volume YTD increased 12 percent to $354.3 million.

MEMPHIS, TN - December 8, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for November jumped 28.4 percent from a year ago, with 1,076 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS^® MAARdata property records database. Total sales rose 2.1 percent from October, when there were 1,054 sales. Average sales price year-over-year was down 15.2 percent and year-to-date was also down 2.6 percent at $125,504. YTD total sales declined 8.3 percent. Inventory was down 4.7 percent from the previous month, with 7,673 units listed for sale. YTD sales volume fell 10.8 percent to $1.49 billion.

MEMPHIS, TN - November 14, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for October declined 2.9 percent from a year ago, with 1,054 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS^® MAARdata property records database. Total sales fell 2.7 percent from September, when there were 1,083 sales. Average sales price year-over-year was down 1.5 percent and year-to-date was also down 1.5 percent at $126,080. YTD total sales declined 10.9 percent. Inventory was down 2.3 percent from the previous month, with 8,053 units listed for sale. YTD sales volume fell 12.3 percent to $1.36 billion.

MEMPHIS, TN - July 6, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Memphis-area home sales for June rose 4.5 percent from a year ago, with 1,612 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Existing home sales were up 5.8 percent from 2010. Total sales increased 16.1 percent from May (1,389).
