Knoxville Smarter Cities Partnership Stakeholder Council Meeting May 5

WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 6, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The Knoxville Smarter Cities Partnership Stakeholder Council will meet on Tuesday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in the Small Assembly Room to hear updates from Working Groups and discuss next steps in advancing energy efficiency resources and programs.

The Smarter Cities Partnership is a coalition of more than 20 community organizations seeking to improve the quality, comfort, and affordability of center-city homes through energy efficiency.

One area of discussion will be the recent announcement by TVA that the Knoxville community has been awarded $7.12 million dollars to improve the energy efficiency of lower-income homes in Knoxville.
