Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone Expands Platform and Relocates Office in Knoxville
Nashville, TN – March 22, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Cornerstone Commercial Real Estate Services, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance member, has acquired the property management operations of Commercial & Investment Properties, Co. (CIP).
According to John Adams, a Principal in the Knoxville office of Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone, “This acquisition is an opportunity for our brokerage company to provide a broader menu of services to the market.”
With this acquisition, Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone adds 1.2 million sq. ft. of management to its current management and leasing portfolio of over 6.8 million sq. ft. The management department of CIP will be merging with Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone and all present employees of CIP management will join the company.

With the merger of the two firms Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone now manages some of Knoxville’s most prominent developments; such as Parkside Centre, Century Park, and Two Centre Square.
