June Is “Homeownership Month” in Tennessee

Memphis-area home sales for February decreased 5.5 percent from a year ago, with 934 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Sales declined 9.6 percent from January, when there were 1,033 total sales. Average sales price from February-to-February was up 16.2 percent at $147,557.
April Market Report
Memphis-area home sales for April declined 7.6 percent from a year ago, with 1,297 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Sales increased 8.4 percent from March, when there were 1,197 total sales. Average sales price year-over-year increased 7.3 percent to $146,070. Inventory increased 2.8 percent, with 6,088 units listed for sale. YTD sales volume increased 3.9 percent to $645.3 million

Memphis-area home sales for January were down 14.9 percent from a year ago, with 1,083 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database. Sales were flat from December, when there were 1,088 total sales. Average sales price year-over-year increased 10.9 percent to $139,721. Mayor: McClung Building to be Razed for Public Safety
