MEMPHIS, TN – December 2, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Investec Realty Services, a premier Memphis, Tenn. commercial real estate firm, and Sperry Van Ness International, a large and fast-growing franchisor providing training, systems management and marketing support for its network of commercial real estate brokerage firms, today announced Investec Realty Services is now an independently owned and operated franchise of Sperry Van Ness International. The firm will operate as Sperry Van Ness / Investec Realty Services, located at 51 Germantown Ct., Suite 215 in Memphis. This affiliation marks Sperry Van Ness International’s eleventh franchise signing this year.

Led by Anthony Lopes, CPM, CCIM, John Snyder, CPM, SIOR, and Jon Albright, CCIM, SIOR, who serve as managing directors, Sperry Van Ness / Investec Realty Services will provide acquisitions, dispositions, landlord representation, tenant representation, development, consulting, project management and property management for office, industrial, retail, land and medical office properties. The 11-person operation has completed more than $500 million in transaction volume and currently manages more than 300,000 square feet of commercial space.

With more than 28 years of industry experience, Lopes has been involved in all phases of developing, marketing, leasing and managing commercial real estate. Prior to starting Investec Realty Services, he spent 17 years at Koger Properties, Inc. and Koger Equity, Inc., where he served as leasing manager for the largest office complex in Miami, Fla. and eventually became the general manager of Koger’s Memphis operation, where he successfully orchestrated Koger’s entry into the market.
Snyder has more than 27 years of commercial real estate experience. He served as partner for Investec Realty Services, LLC, and principal broker for Office Locators, LLC, a real estate firm focused on tenant representation. Previously, Snyder served as partner for Cresa Partners in Memphis, where he specialized in corporate real estate services, tenant representation and build-to-suit projects. Prior to that, he managed a two million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio for Trammell Crow in Memphis.
Albright, with more than 23 years of real estate experience, served as partner for Investec Realty Services since 2007. Previously, he spent nine years with a national real estate developer in Memphis and owned his own real estate operation. During his career, Albright leased the largest office building in Tennessee, formed development partnerships which have successfully built more than 200,000 rentable square feet of commercial property, and represented client interests locally, regionally and nationally.
